Overview

Centre of VaseBit (“the Centre”, “we”) operates the website cov.edu.rs. We collect a deliberately small amount of personal information: only what is needed to respond to inquiries and process applications. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run invasive tracking on this website.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Contact form submissions: the name, email address, organization, country, inquiry type, and message you choose to send us.
• Student email applications: your full name, contact email, country, institution, requested username, and motivation text.
• Technical data: standard server information processed by Cloudflare (such as IP address and browser user agent). For abuse prevention we store only a one-way hash of the IP address together with form submissions — not the address itself.
• Bot protection data: if Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, a short-lived verification token that is used once and then discarded.

How we use information

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, to process student email applications, to keep the website secure, and to prevent spam and abuse. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell your data. The website runs on Cloudflare’s infrastructure (including Cloudflare Workers, D1, and related services), which processes data on our behalf as a processor. Where an inquiry relates to enterprise collaboration, it may be handled together with VaseBit Music Org., our collaboration partner, because such inquiries are worked on jointly. We may disclose information where required by applicable law.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set technical, security-related cookies for bot management. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it reports aggregate usage without cookies or tracking individuals. We do not embed third-party analytics scripts that profile users.

Retention

Contact submissions are kept while the inquiry is being handled, and are then deleted or anonymized. Student email applications are kept while the application or the email address is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record keeping. You can request deletion at any time using the contact form.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the form on this website; we will verify your request before acting on it.

Minors

The Centre’s community is intended for learners aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children below that age through this website. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

International processing

The website runs on a global edge network, and the data described above may be processed in several countries as part of normal delivery. Submitting a form means you accept this cross-border processing for the purposes described in this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website and community evolve. The current version is always published on this page.
